Meet The Team

Founder & CEO
Sean Ballard
Sean is a founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Metre.
As the CEO and co-founder of Eigenvector, he saw firsthand how untapped datasets and novel approaches disrupt capital markets and yield outstanding financial returns. He envisions Metre, and the widespread applications of its metabolic dataset, as similarly invaluable to unlocking the next revolution in health and nutrition.
He's a health and fitness enthusiast, a Goldman Sachs alum, serves on the Business Affairs committee of the board of scientific publisher Annual Reviews, and graduated with a BS in Economics from Brigham Young University.

Glenn Forrester
Glenn is a founder and the Chief Technology Officer of Metre.
Glenn is a serial entrepreneur who started his first company while he was an undergraduate at Harvard, eventually selling that company to Apple. He has started other successful companies in a wide range of markets including AI, medical devices, data science, education, market research, and cloud-based security.


Senior Scientist
Nicole Ing, PhD
Prior to joining the Metre team, Nicole had over ten years of academic research experience. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Materials Science at the University of California, Irvine, where she was both a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and a U.S. Department of Education GANN Fellow, specializing in electrochemical biosensors.
During her postdoctoral research for Sandia National Laboratories, she worked on developing high-throughput analytical chemistry assays for molecular screening.
